César Baena (PhD London School of Economics) has combined a career in business, academia, and consultancy. Founder and CEO of a strategic management consultancy with activities across various continents and business sectors in the areas of strategic advice, post-merger and acquisition integration, internationalization, corporate governance, energy transition, and fund raising. César teaches strategic management, corporate strategy, and energy policy at various universities and business schools where he has also held management roles. He has served on the board of companies in the financial, energy, and IT sectors.
José Luis Velasco (Economics degree, MBA, CFA, CPA) has a career spanning more than three decades in various sectors and countries. He has held a wide range of senior positions, including board member, senior manager of financial institutions in three European countries, head of research in a brokerage firm, auditor and consultant. He has been actively involved in developing and restructuring several companies and implementing new financial products and related technologies. In addition, José Luis has served on the board of directors of numerous financial companies and non-profit organizations.
